Earth, Fire & Food is an educational program geared for school kids that uses earth ovens as a tool to take a creative look at the art and science of food. Structured around building and using wood-fired ovens, this program explores our personal relationship with how we make and eat our food, while taking an in depth look at how the food we eat effects our bodies. This program teaches kids practical skills while deepening personal connections with themselves, others and nature. The goal of this program is getting kids excited about eating healthy, while widening their perspectives on the world and their true potential.

Earth, Fire & Food is a fun and engaging program that has a lot to offer kids when it comes to understanding food and health. Through building & using wood-fired ovens, this program takes a scientific look at the art of food preparation while exploring the importance of proper food preparation and consumption. During the program, the kids will build an oven and  learn how to make food to bake or cook in the oven while learning about nutritional health along the way.

This program is very hands on, with the goal to give kids practical skills that they can apply at home and a foundation of understanding health that they can build upon into the future. This program is customizable to fit the needs of each school and can be set up to work as a one time visit, a multi-day workshop or as a monthly addition to a school's or class's curriculum.

The C.O.B Project is currently developing online courses, tutorials and live feed workshops; not only to accommodate distance learning protocols but to be able to make this program accessible to more schools.
